| Tell us Tina back on line!
Hello from sunny Scotland! I have been here in Findhorn attending the experience week since Saturday 30 July. We have a great group of 20 'experiencers' and two focalizers Maria who has lived in the community for 16 years and Hanna who has lived here on and off for 14 years.
Experience week is held in the Cluny College, which was originally a very grand spa hotel in the 1930's and 1940's surrounded by two golf courses and perched on a hill.
There are lots of rooms, including a ballroom and a lovely large dining room which overlooks the golf courses and views of the mountains beyond. The gardens at Cluny College are also very beautiful. There are labaryths, colourful garden beds with traditional english flowers and lovely oak trees and pine trees. The vegetable gardens also produce most of our supplies.
Yesterday we visited Randolph's Leap which is a nature sanctuary located 10minutes from Forres (the town closest to Cluny College). The sanctuary is located on private land, however the owners have allowed access to the public.
The Findhorn river runs through the land and the forest area is extremely old .... nature everywhere..... the river runs through peat so the water is whisky coloured and very fast. The green hues are also varied and quite magnificent. We spent a couple of hours there and it was really very enchanting. Hopefully I will be able o visit again before I leave next week.
A big thank you to Peer Bremer for created and designed Tellustina.com. Peer also reminded me of my password so I could update it (finally!). More news again soon. Cheers Tina!
