Fabulous Findhorn adventures continued

Hello again!
Findhorn has been a great experience! Opportunity to connect with lots of like minded people who I am sure will keep in contact over time. This week I was working in the Cullerne Garden. The garden is on 6 acres and is completely organic. The Garden is also the home of the Findhorn Flower Essences. A very serene and beautiful space nestled behind the sand dunes behind the Park.

Yesterday I harvested courgettes (zucchinis), weeded around apple trees and helped colleagues clean up the gum boot room (hadn't realised there were so many varieties!). Today it was harvesting wonderful flowers and making them into bouquets for distribution around the Park. I was congratulated on first time effort for the flowers.... perhaps my "brown thumb" is green after all!

Tomorrow I am heading off to the Isles of Lewis and Harris in the Western Hebrides and then on to Isle of Skye. Looking forward to exploring more of the west coast of Scotland. It is truly magnificent!

Lots of love Tina

ps. I thought you may also be amused to know that I am sending a great deal of the clothes I brought away with me back home. My backpack seems to have gained weight and in its current state, I would not be able to walk the 750kms along the "Way of St James" in Spain! I did not want to set a record for the only pilgrim walker to catch a taxi the entire way as the backpack was too heavy! The big lesson for me, I think, is to pear down to the basics... I dont always need to be prepared for every eventuality! Better to realise this BEFORE THE WALK ...and not after!
